What Will You Learn

Apprenticeship Content

This advanced qualification will develop and demonstrate technical and wider sector-related knowledge to underpin competence within a customer service role. This includes the principles, and techniques for organising and delivering customer service, building and maintaining relationships with customers and an understanding of the legislation and regulations that governs the industry. There are optional units available to tailor your course around specific areas of your job role such as: monitoring quality of customer service indicators, managing customer service award programme, support customers using self-service equipment, managing team performance, negotiating, handling objections and closing sales, bespoke software, customer retention, amongst many more

Learning Methods

You will be assigned a qualified training advisor, where learning will be undertaken by mixture of 1 to 1 sessions, on/off the job learning and mentor support

Assessment Methods

The course will be assessed via a range of methods which could include direct observations in the workplace, electronic portfolios, guided discussions, screen testing and exams.

Progression Opportunities

There would be opportunities to progress onto a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Team Leading or Management or higher customer service qualifications

Career Opportunities

Job roles could include Customer Service Supervisor, Customer Service Team Leader, Customer Relationship Manager, Client Services Officer, Events Co-ordinator, Customer Insight Analyst, Service Delivery Manager

Entry Requirements


You need to have been a resident in the UK, EU or EEA for the past 3 years and should be at least 16 years old. You will need to be currently employed within a customer service role to show competence and experience
